Zero In by BarberOsgerby is a low table full of illusion. On looking at the table it appears to be moulded from a seamless piece of polyester. The glass top is barely visible and therefore anything placed upon it seems to be floating unsupported. There is also a dual wall construction which provides yet a further illusion, looking into the table it seems to converge at a greater pitch than expected. The simple form of Zero In at first belies the complex and contradictory elements of this fabulous design that further engages the onlooker. A very sophisticated and impressive table which was designed and developed using sophisticated production techniques usually reserved for car manufacturing.
