The Anglepoise Type 75 Table Base was orginally designed by George Carwardine and was subtly updated in the 1970's by Kenneth Grange. Re-designed to replace the popular Apex product, this fabulous desk light is a true British icon, and one we are very proud to be associated with.

Ordered online Sunday and arrived midday on Tuesday. Excellent delivery service. Yes it is definitely fit for purpose. I am using it mainly for "table top" photography. But it is smart enough to have in the lounge. There is insufficient information regarding fine tuning the arm balance. Fine if you have an engineering background but for run of the mill public a little more descriptive help in the accompanying write up would avoid possibility of overzealous damage.

Desk Lamps don't come much better than this. Just as good as the other two I bought.
