Miss K, designed by Philippe Starck during 2003/2004 is just so simple and effective - especially its price! This little lamp will add focus and style to any room setting and just looks fab. When off the internal diffuser is in disguise, but when turned on, the internal diffuser lights up on shows off it's beauty. Available in a variety of finishes.

I am really delighted that I found Icone. Seldom does one find a company that consistently lives up to expectations, and then exceeds them. Unfortunately in the future I will judge other suppliers by the higher standards set by Icone and probably be disappointed more often. Thank you for your service, and what a great product from Flos. An antique of the future?

Miss K in Red - Better in Twos

I already had one of these from when they first came out and had a vague long term plan to buy another one. Prices have gone up since then but the price here was competitive and free delivery. The website doesn't make clear whether they are held in stock so if you want one in a hurry it might be best to check first. The bulb is a screw i.e. not bayonet fitting, and there is an inline dimmer on the flex so not suitable for low energy fluorescent bulbs. With the banning of 100W not sure what the alternatives are now. It's a canny lamp but once you start looking at lamps of this ilk and price there's a wonderful world of creations out there, most of which can't be found in shops in the provinces so it might be worth doing a bit of online browsing to see what else might take your fancy.

I was disappointed that this lamp came without a bulb. The lamp was not cheap, I really expected it to come ready to use! When I have found the correct bulb, and a local stockist (I hope!), I will leave another review regarding the actual product.

The red Miss K Floss rocks. It's beautifully made, has a wonderful light, and it looks like nothing else. I especially like the metal collar just below the bulb.
