IMPORTANT The Mirror Ball range and Copper Shade and Copper Blow all share the same special vacuum metalisation process, developed by Tom Dixon. The technically complex nature of the process, ie applying a very thin layer of real metal to the internal surface of a polycarbonate form, which is then UV coated requires highly skilled workers, special machinery and a clean environment. Tom Dixon have sought to perfect this process but due to environmental conditions outside of their control, there may at times be evidence of extremely small holes appearing within the metal coating. This does not mean that the light is faulty, it simply means that due to the above process, it is difficult to avoid. Tom Dixon have worked hard to minimise this as far as possible, but it is always good to be aware of these small holes just in case they do arise in your light.
