Born in Milan in 1939, Mr. Didone graduated in Architecture
from the Milan Polytechnic School in 1967, and acquired his first working
experience at the Frattini architectural firm where he held important
positions.
He opened his own architectural firm in 1970 and specialised in interior
design, civil and industrial architecture, public architecture and landscaping,
industrial and graphic design.
From 1971 until 1975, he joined the DAM (Milanese Designers Association)
Group, and worked together with G.14 studies and A. Colombi architectural
firms to design various ideological posters regarding design.
He also organised a show of the Group's work at the Centro Domus.
Mr. Didone has designed lamps, interior decor articles, household goods,
upholstery, furniture, fabrics, and electronic products through collaboration
with the following companies: Valenti, Gruppo Industriale Busnelli, Cedit,
Flos, Pedrini, Luci, Relco, Elle, Bardelli, Gabbianelli, Rima, Lamperti,
and Frastema, and in the field of design has received numerous prizes
and awards.
Mr. Didone is currently the Art Director of the L.C. Relco Company.
Mr. Didone has renovated and furnished apartments and stores in Milan,
Padova, Verona, Vigevano, St. Moritz, Genoa, Monza, Salò, Gardone
Riviera, Isola d'Elba, Bollate, Maon (Minorca), and Brescia.
He also designs single-family homes and restores and renovates rural and
historical buildings in the provinces of Milan, Pavia, Alessandria, and
Minorca.
He designed the Amplifon headquarters in Milan, Piazza Marconi in Combiago,
the Vecchia Filanda Social-Cultural Centre, and the Corte Prandi Garden.
