Tropico
range by Giulio Iacchetti is truly inspirational. The rings to which the lozenge like elements connect are inspired by the earth's parellels in this latest edition of suspension lights for Foscarini. The diffuser supports the weight of the lamp, which is shared amongst each of the single elements. Tropico's modularity allows endless combinations: by simply altering the diameter, the succession of rings or the layout of the number of single elements, it is possible to obtain different forms and dimensions. Available in 4 different versions Sphera, Verticle, Bell and Ellipse. An atmospheric light is produced thanks to the inner cylinder that filters and spreads the luminous fluorescent flow. There are two available finishes, giving two strongly contrasting effects: The ICE version lets the light through, while the IVORY version, which underlines the material and decorative effect of the element, recalls the almost ethnic vision of an oriental lantern. There are also optional filters available of either a cold violet tone or a warm orange further offering the ability to change the mood of the lamp. ...
